On my recent trip home to cold Canada, my eldest sister Sarah invited me to attend her knitting group along with my husband, mother and other sister Rebecca who is living in London, UK. This was a great fluke that the meeting was held on the same dates as our trip because not only did we get our sister Rebecca to knit (she knows how, just doesn't partake regularly!) but my husband sat down for an evening of arm knitting and finished a chunky green snood, just in time for the -25 weather!
This was such a fun experience joining someone else's knitting group. It just goes to show that craft tables around the world aim to bring people together for a social and creative experience. YO meets in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. If you are around the area, bring your wool and knitting sticks - Sarah would love to have you!
